New family disabled swimming sessions are being held each week in Margate.
They start on Saturday (Apr 4) at Hartsdown Leisure Centre and are aimed at families with disabled children.
The Thanet Disability Sports Project will hold the sessions from 2.30pm-4.30pm every Saturday.
Under-16s can swim for free but need to join up by filling in a registration form and showing proof of age to get their free swim-card.
There will also be one concessionary adult swim for each disabled person.
The Thanet Disability Sports Project, which is run by Thanet council, has already created the Thanet Galaxy Pan Disability Football Club, improved beach play facilities and relaunched the disability cycling scheme in Minnis Bay.
Shirley Tomlinson, Cabinet member for environmental services, said: "These sessions will be a great opportunity for families with disabled children to enjoy time together at the pool.
"The council's disability sports project has already had some great successes in organising activities and events for those with disabilities and I'm sure this will prove to be another popular session."
Additional support comes from Thanet Leisureforce, Eastern and Coastal Kent Primary Care Trust, the Government and the Thanet Can-Do organisation.
